When a casualty is unresponsive, the immediate actions of those around can within seconds make the difference between life and death. Basic life support training is of paramount importance for anyone working within the healthcare industry, but should not be overlooked by anyone who values human life in general.
Our Emergency Response course covers the fundamental basics of how to approach and deal with an individual in an unconscious state who may be breathing normally, abnormally or not at all. Recommended as an annual refresher course, due to official resuscitation practice changing periodically, life support training has the potential to become invalid and of less day-to-day value if not refreshed at least once each year.
A three hour course consisting of theoretical and practical work.

No formal assessment is carried out – delegates are instead monitored and assessed during the course and while performing practical tasks. A certificate valid for one year will be presented to those successfully completing the course.
