The Entonox and Oxygen Administration training course has been designed to provide delegates with the knowledge, understanding and skills to safely and effectively set up oxygen and/or entonox therapy. On completion of the course delegates will also have gained the required knowledge, understanding and skills to safely administer and monitor oxygen and/or entonox therapy within a clinical or home setting.
Oxygen and Entonox therapy may be used for a variety of reasons. The course will cover in which circumstances it would be appropriate, as well as looking at the contraindications, legal implications and equipment used.

The Entonox and Oxygen Administration course will last approximately 6 hours depending on the needs and requirements of your organisation.
Following completion of the Entonox and Oxygen Administration course, we will provide the necessary competency proformas required to ensure safe and evidenced-based clinical practice. This will then allow the Registered Provider to ensure mandatory competency assessments are completed within the workplace by a nominated mentor/supervisor.
